In the current Get Organized Tips newsletter I’ve invited readers to let public commitment help them get motivated and make progress on their organizing tasks.
In short, here’s what I’ve suggested…
52 Mini Organizing Missions
What I’ll do:
- Each week I’ll give you a mini organizing mission via the Get Organized Blog (right here!).
- It will only take about 30 minutes (that’s 30 minutes a week) to complete the basic mission.
There’ll sometimes be a larger option if you want to go further.
- The missions will include decluttering, personal organization, goal-setting and personal development tasks across a range of home, work and life areas.
- The tasks will be broad enough for you to make them personally applicable, or I’ll give you a range of options – so you won’t be asked to do something irrelevant to you.
What I’d like you to do:
- Register your commitment to completing the missions with a comment on this Get Organized – Get Accountable! Post.
- Each week, check in on that week’s Assigned Mission post.
- Um – complete the mission!
- Enter a comment – eg DONE – on that week’s Assigned Mission post. I’d love you to share your experience too, if you like.
Just imagine how much organizing and decluttering you’ll have achieved by the end of your 52 organizing missions!
Commit Now!
Come on – if you want to cross the motivation bridge you have to pay the commitment toll.
To register your commitment: Scroll to the bottom of this post, where you’ll find a comment box waiting for you.
See you back here for your first Organizing Mission – we start early next!

Ruth,
Thanks for your comment about using URI. I’ve changed this to say ‘Web site’ instead – much less confusing.
Sounds like alot of great tips to come. I’ve been doing the big trash bags things for several months (really cleared the clutter in my home and in my life). I think I still might be able to eek out another bag or two. I’m looking forward to all the other tips though and maintaining what I’ve started
OK I’m in…let’s roll.
Ok. I’ll give it a whirl…

I am in on improving my life and hopefully the quality of it also. This house is out of control and beyond hope, or I thought so until I found your site. Lets see what happens.
Thank you so much.
I am COMMITTED
I’m ready to re-organize and declutter my home and my life
Thank you xx
I am definitely committed!
Okey doke!
yup, I’m in. At this point, I have read a lot and even put some of those brilliant tips into action, but this cries for discipline… Dang, if I don’t stop merely hoarding (filing) all that useful stuff and fooling myself about needing the big picture completed first, it’ll all end up as another huge unfinished castle-in-the-air. Thanks already, Michele, for the option of manageable chunks and regular step-by-step lessons. Looking forward to a year of improving habits
I’m starting this… oh my goodness! Just dreaming about taking one step at a time to a less cluttered house (do you have a place to organize kids??)

Ready. Set. Go.
Count me in! Really looking forward to becoming more in control of my life.
I have completed the first mission. Thought I wouldn’t find anything, because I’ve been attempting the declutter thing for a while, but managed to fill my garbage bag anyway.
Mission 1 completed last week. Now onward to mission 2, which I pretty much do weekly anyway. So I have time to extend the exercise to my semi-packed suitcase for quick get-away trips.
Hope this works…been trying for a long time.
Looking forward to decluttering my life….starting with the house. Thanks for the motivation. Lets get started.
i am ready for change.

New Years resolution – be more organised
I’m planning a move, hopefully in the spring and planning to return to school in the fall. I’ve been watching the missions in my blog reader for the past few months and never took the time to do them. With my plans for the coming year, organization is going to be crucial. Let’s do this!!
Ready for my first mission!
I am SO READY to get started. I’m so tired of being unorganized.
I am so ready for this.

Can’t wait to get started!
Ready to commit to getting organinzed in 2010!
Interesting how we seem to be mostly women. Do men not need this?
This year 2010 is my year to get ORGANIZED !! I have had this goal for many years now & with not much success so this is the year I SUCCEED.
I will faithfully DO these tasks each week. This 52 MISSIONS is a wonderful way to go into 2010 .
Time to downsize this empty nest
You can count me in!
6 family christmas get togethers,(too many toys to begin with) 4 children ages 10-8-4-1, 1 working father, 1 SAHM – who also starts classes next week to be come a RN. 2 bedrooms, 900 sq ft = clutttttter clutter clutter. STRESS. I need this to survive. I am ending this year the right way…with a clean house (hopefully) I am tired of saying “I am about to” – give me a minute, thats all I am doing tommorow. and a week later, it never got done.
I am doing it.
WEEK 1 – Have not only one but three trash bags ready TO GO .What a WAY to start the NEW YEAR 2010 . Heading into a CLUTTER-FREE & organized LIFE is so wonderful . These have been my new year resolutions for so many years & with minimal success & I won’t be saying that this time next year !!!!!
Can’t think of a better way to start the new year
I’m ready to make 2010 my best year ever–52 Missions will go help me achieve this goal. Thanks!
Sounds like a great way to start the new year.
Would love to start the new year in this way!
WOW….. I’m ready to make 2010 my best year ever!
52 Missions will go help me achieve this goal.
Thanks
I’m ready to make some real changes in 2010. 52 Missions sounds like a great way to start. Bring it on.
I’m in! My finances have Peace after 2 years of aggressive budgeting… now I just need to bring peace and order to other parts of life! Game on! I just hope my family is ready for this.

I hope I am up to this. I am really going to try,
Happy to have found you all–and I commit to making 2010 my best year! I am so ready to organize ME and my family.
So I got sidetracked in posting after the 45 minutes I took to fill the huge black lawn and leaf garbage bag (along with my 10 and 8 year old) After Christmas there are plenty of things to be thrown away. I even cleaned out my husbands bathroom drawer !
I caught a glance at the next task….oh brother, I am not looking forward to this. onward and upward aye?
A new year and a fresh start! I can’t wait.
This sounds like a fun way to meet the challenges of overhauling my clutter habits and cluttery spaces. Thanks so much! I’m going to DO THIS! Yea for us!
It is on!
Like Donkey Kong!
Thanks for the encouragement and guidance!
You are my new BFF! I’ve needed this for so long! Thank You!
I’m in ….. let’s do this thing!!!!
Okay…”UNCLE” I am surrendering myself – coming out of the ‘perfectionism and procrastination’ closet. Time for significant change.
I am ready. 2010 is the year of massive, positive change
Just do it!
I did it. I got a lot of Christmas stuff that I had kept for years. Now when I set up next year I wont be looking at it wondering why I saved it.
Want to start 2010 right with organization as a goal.
I can do this…. I have too!!! Way to unorganized… Thank you for wanting to help to achieve this goal… I need a buddy…. I can do this…..:-)
Ok…I am ready.
I am in and ready to go.
Let’s get it started.
Im ready!
Ok………… let me have it….. lets go!!!
It’s time to make a few changes. Here we go!
I’m excited!
Five kids, three dogs, two squirrels, a bird, a husband, years of cluttered clutter and complete chaos, new job training, not to mention my scattered mind. If you can help this, you are SO TOTALLY THE FRIGGIN’ BOMB!!!!! IT”S ON!!!!!!
Well that felt good, filled a big bag of rubbish just in the bathroom – make up that i had been holding onto…. just in case…. ditched it – felt really good – thank you
i’m not known for my follow through. i am committing to changing that!
Nothin’ personal, but I don’t think it can be done. I have a lifetime of “Brain-Scramble” and, although I truly want change, my scrambled brain tells me that I am beyone repair.
I can only hope I am wrong and that your system will, in fact, help me to learn how to gain the control I have always wanted. Good luck to both of us.
Yaya
I’m hopeful and ready to start!
I am doing this now because I am ready to be organized and I am ready to do the daily work to stay organized.
I’m ready!!

Okay, I’m looking forward to getting started!
On board, getting my bearings & waiting for orders… happy at the prospect of setting sail in a fresh breeze.
Ready for takeoff!
I am a classic Adult ADDer desperately in need of organization and accountability. Enough of disorder and chaos! Let’s get going!
I’m ready to do this and I’m starting right now!
I’m in.
I’m in too!
I’m all in!!!
OK, one bin out the door & to the curb in time for the weekly trash collection the next a.m. (hurrah!)
Yet it was barely a dent.
I’ll need a month of daily half hour missions to sort all the stuff that I want out of the house (both the trash & donations to the charity thrift shop), but at least I’ve made a start and believe I can do this with the inner voice asking “Do I love this? Do I “really” use it? need it? that many? would someone else be better off making use of it?” I know books will be about the hardest, when I get to those.
I overthink everything so I considered approaches to the problem and… thought about what I could most usefully think while doing the mission. I hope you find these helpful & will share what helped you.
Some useful thoughts in tossing:
If you need the article you can find it on line, toss the damn magazine. It’s out of date, out of style, stale, or ugly, broken, cracked, musty, worn, torn, easily replaced. Find the fatal flaw.
OUT out OUT.
The dust on it is proof you don’t use it.
Remember what a lot of stuff your frugal aunts & pack-rat uncle left for your parents & cousins to dispose of? [thank goodness I'm a continent away]
“Why did I buy that?” means it goes. Now.
Some things best banished and NOT thought about:
You paid $$$ for that professional journal, you ought to read it, you really must. [ No, you won't. You don't want to. You have better uses for your time & personal spaces]
I really will fix that.
Someday… [Just wake up from "someday" dreams and admit that now is a long way from when you first had some daydream about using/fixing the thing. OUT!]
Any other useful thought on getting out of the clutches of “stuff”?
thanks!
Hmmm. Seems like I confused the space for accountability vows with that for comments on having done the mission. Sorry.
I’ll scan the comments on the mission completed for helpful ideas.
Ready to organize and simplify!
I GOTTA do this! Im in and sick and tired of the chaos I call my life… WOOOHOOO
As much as I love to procrastinate, I commit to completing each weekly mission.

So ready to begin and look forward to it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
People say I AM organized, but I say I used to be and I’m still coasting on inertia. I’m here for the motivation and committment and a little bit of self discipline. Over the last few years we’ve accumulated SO Much Stuff. Our parents passed away or went into longterm care, and we brought things home from their homes. The kids have moved in & out a few times & each time they go they leave a little bit more stuff here.
It’s the perfect time of year to get started on spring cleaning and getting our lives in order. I can’t wait – I’m going to get my HUGE bag and get started – I have to be done in time to watch the COLTS WIN!
I am ready,willing and able,and commited !!
Ready…set….let’s go!
I’m so ready to get my life under control and start feeling excited about everything in my life!
I so desperately want to gain control of my life.
No matter how much I clean the house is always messy, chores are always undone, and I am always exhausted at running around chasing my tail
And I start full time work next week so I need to get it all under control.
I am ready! Bring it on!
I am nervous, but i’m going to try!
let’s go!!
I’m one who would rather read a book about organizing than actually DO the task. Time to get off my behind and take charge of this mess…
I’ve tried other programs in the past. Crossing my fingers I’ll be able to stay motivated this time!
Ready to take on a much bigger lifestyle. This party has already started! Let’s go!!!
Getting started… though with a new baby, I’ll do what I can and not be hard on myself.
did that one when I got a new purse and will post about it soon on my blog
Ready!
Ready
So inspirational…even when I just don’t feel like it!
Well done, gang.
I’m scared I’m going to fail..but I have to try! I need to do this!!
I’m really nervous about this, but I think I can set aside 30 minutes each week, and maybe I’ll get motivated to do more. I’m a serious packrat though, and it’s gotten so bad, I just don’t know where to start, so maybe this will help me break it into manageable chunks, and it may take 3 or 4 times through the whole organizing mission, but at least I’ll be starting somewhere.
Well, better late than never. I am single and live in a one bedroom apt, so I think I can catch up. But if not, at least I’m starting.
6 bags out the door–one to trash and 5 to family members who need it! How did this happen! Thanks Carrie for sharing this project site with me!!
Now is the time; I can hardly wait!
Ok!! I’m in…..LET’S GET ME ORGANIZED!!

Looking forward to getting started!
This is one of my new years resolutions and I have been practicing it faithfully. I have stopped making excuses and have just said no.
I’m ready to get started!
First mission, fill up a large trash bag ~ make choices from a complete list of items provided by the Get Organized Wizard. Did it. If we could weigh this house, it would be 1000 lbs lighter. LOL… well, it certainly felt like 1000lbs
when we were carrying it to the GoodWill.
I would add one other category to the Wizards fine list. Items that you are keeping because you think the kids might want them. Ask the kids. I did. Guess what? They don’t want the stuff. They already have too much stuff of their own!. OK… so a few keepsakes. But mostly… Thanks, Mom, but nope.
I work from home. So, a simplified life, and uncluttered surroundings …??
Very important. Clutter is distracting.
Good Luck, everyone.
Definitely in — it’s incredible to me how organized I can be about my business and, well, almost nothing else these days (aka, post kids days!). Absolutely committed this time — gotta get this house in shape to get ready for a move, and have everything ready to start off right in the new house.
This is just what I need. I am still working on my home management notebook since January. I’m almost there. This sounds perfect for me.
I have many of these set up. reviewed done.
I’m in!
wallet — check
purse–check
bring on week 3!
Let’s go!

Well, I have countless books and web sites on organizing but here I am. I can get things clean and organizing but I have always struggled with MAINTAINING my system. Being ADHD and OCD I think I “over-organize” myself into systems that are just too difficult to maintain but don’t know any other way – so lets do this – I am Ready !
Done with #1 !!
Ready to find more time in my life for the things that matter
Done with this week — thanks!
Starting this week

@Jeni: 52 Organizing Missions is an email program.
There are optional 52 Organizing Missions workbooks that are fully interactive PDFs – you can type, edit, save, search, print etc.
Out products are not software as such, but some people think of them as software because of the interactive features. All our interactive products work on the free Adobe Reader.

Scattered…..not what I want to be. I want to feel the sanity of a pulled together life.
I desire the peace that awaits me through better orgainizing my time, my “things”, my values…..my LIFE!”
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

We’ve been purging and organizing the house regularly for years (since helping purge 50 YEARS of stuff from my G’parents house in 2005) so those missions may be cake although I hope to learn something new. What I am particularly interested in are the lifestyle and internal missions. Here’s to a great year.
I was inspired by my husband after a recent purge of our playroom. I’d love to do that across the board!
I’m ready!
OK I’m ready to – Just do it!
I’m going to give it a go!
I am ready to do this!
I need this terribly!
Count me in! Get Set Go!
I am committed to doing this becaue I know I will feel alot better in an organissed hosue
I am going to do this because I know I will feel alot beter in an an organised house
I’m ready to complete my missions!
Yupz..
I guess Im a little late in the game but I hope I can catch up. Im going to start organizing my life in order to be happier, have a happier and less stressed family and hopefully that leaks into my work life.
OK, so I’ve tried getting my house and life organized umpteen times before and have never managed to succeed. I HOPE this time will be different. Maybe I should start by de-cluttering all of the de-cluttering books, magazines, and articles I’ve collected over the years.
Ok, I’m ready. Hit me.
Found this site coincidentally at the beginning of the “Summer of Organization.” Yeah!
I could use help in this way to hold me accountable to my commitment
This site looks very helpful. I’m looking forward to using it.
I stopped receiving your emails at mission 41 but it´s okay to start again…it´s my opportunity to improve!!
OK–It can’t hurt…right?!
Accountability is a good thing. I am preparing to move and think it’s a great time to simplify and organize my life, and to finally get around to dealing with my tendency to procrastinate! 30 minutes a week seems do-able.
My large goal is to get our home ready for sale. It is primarily decluttered (you can get SO much done when you retire!) but it helps to keep decluttering as more stuff gathers. Looking forward to the missions.
Let’s Roll!
On y va!
OK – jumping in feet first, eyes shut tight, holding my breath – I WILL do this!
Let’s go!
I’m in.
I’m in!

I’m in!
We just moved to a smaller house and we’ve got to get organized to make the best use of our space. I’m getting started today!
At the end of this process, I invision a clean and clutter free house, the smell of lemony pinesol, the girls finding clothes and being on time for school, the smell of bread baking in the oven, and a beautiful bouquet of flowers standing on a clutter free kitchen table. My vision is my future!
I’m ready to get organized! I can do 30 minutes a week…right???
I just started my business and I NEED organization in my life!! I can do this!!!!!:) But I need some help…im ready!
You know you ready when you get excited about filling up a big bag of stuff and getting rid of it!
I am sooo ready for this!
I'm appprehensive ..but ready.
Alright, let's do this thing!
OK! Here goes…..!
Okay, I may be late but better than never right! I put a post on my FB saying I planned to get organized in a year and low and behold I stumbled upon this…..yay me!
Just downloaded 52 missions and am looking forward to getting started on the path to a more organised, clutter free life.
Get Organized – Get Accountable! http://t.co/XLFXZKd via @micheleconnolly
I need this badly. I’m going to give it my best shot!
I’m In
That makes sense. I’ll have to remember to keep my “To Do” list short and then I can get to the end of it.
What a great idea.
I CAN CERTAINLY DO IT! I want to join your group & COMMIT publicly that I will be more organised & less of a hoarder!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am ready to start #1! No more procrastination… no more reading and researching to find the “right” system – JUST DO IT!
I commit to the mission of getting organized.
Let’s get this party started!
One more babystep
I’m in! There’s nothing I want more than an organzied home, family, life…me!
WOOHOO!
Ok I just finished my first mission – I filled up a trash bag and never left my laundry room. And I’m sure I can go back in there and fill at least one more. This is going to take a long time….
Worth a try. Gotta do something!
4 little kids, 2 large and hairy dogs, 1 procrastinating husband…..if this doesn’t help NOTHING WILL!
Just downloaded the 52 organizing missions, both on the iPad on the computer. So many helpful ideas and tools to “make it happen”! Really looking forward to this and am more confident than ever before that this is one program that can really help. So much of what bogs me down- the trying to make decisions on what needs to be done and steps to get there are already taken care of. So…here I go, with a commitment to follow this program.
I’m in!
I’m in!
I need some simplicity in my life so badly! I feel like I have no control over my life whatsoever, but I’m confident this will help.
OK slightly scared but I SO need some organization in my life. Totally fed up with living in total chaos and feeling like I’m running to stand still. I hope this helps!
Just got the iPad app and ready to get started.
I am pretty organized, but always looking for ways to improve so that I can accomplish more and look for “stuff” less.
Ready to get going!
Ok, I’m gonna begin at number one. Huge trash bag… Let’s see what can be accomplished!
I’m ready to stop thinking and reading about de-cluttering and ready to start doing something. I downloaded the iPad app because I liked that everything is broken down into steps for me, since my biggest obstacle is being too overwhelmed to know where to start.
Ok. Here I go.
Ok. Here I go. I’m committed to 30 minutes a week.
I CAN do this!!!!
Ok, ready…(I think)
Ok, ready…
Let’s do this

Ok bring on the big bag!
I’ll give it a whirl.
Hi everybody! Well I’m here!
It’s my intention to complete these 52 task lists, however, once a week is too often, perhaps once a month. Anyway, slowly but surely, I’ll be getting organized!
I hope that I can make some friends here.
My email address is lisadean8z2008@yahoo.com.au
I’m especially interested in meeting people who have alot of projects going.
Bye for now! Lisa.

Ok, l’m ready ! Let’s do it!
So excited!
I am sick of living with the stress that goes hand – in – hand with clutter and disorganisation. Have read a couple of really good books which have worked in part, but books don’t make you accountable. I’m ready to start. Today!
@ Lisa:
You ARE accountable – I’m going to be watching your comments on the missions!
M
I so need this motivation! Let’s do it!
I found this website when I searched “give yourself a makeover” on google. So obviously that’s what I wanted to do… this website is just full of little makeovers in all parts of life, not just makeovers for my face or body. I’m going to commit to doing these missions, and since I *was* looking for makeover tips for my self first, I’m going to start with Mission #46: Give yourself a makeover.
One more disorganized girl ready to set things straight signing up!
I’m in. Ready to get started. Have purchased your Ipad app to support me

Have often tried to get organized without success on my own. Hopefully joining this will keep me motivated. Yes count me in….lead the way!
Oh, do I need this. I used to be so organized, but as years have passed, I have gotten less and less able to maintain an acceptable level of organization. This will help me.
Just bought the iPad version of this program. Starting a full time job in December and I need to reclaim my house, and my home office. Looking forward to getting my kids involved in keeping things up to snuff! Thank you for putting this together!!
Procrastination is my biggest drawback……….having to be accountable will keep me motivated!

I’m going to beat me by decluttering my life and my home and by doing this I will be decluttering my brain. Cross you fingers for me this is about the 500th time I’ve tried this but never with help before, so this time i’ve got it.
@Liz: You WILL do it this time. I don’t need to cross my fingers, I just need to encourage you to set that timer for 30 minutes and go do mission 1. You will feel amazing, I promise!
Then you just need to put a regular 30-minute appointment in your schedule, once a week.
See you on future missions!
M
Mission #1 done – I was actually motivated enough to do this task for over an hour. I’m going to be moving in the next few months and this is the perfect motivator. I love the app. on my iPad – thanks!!

@Trish: Sounds like a great theme for 2011! I wish you well.
Just purchased the works….think it is exactly what I need! I just moved house, and when I packed everything was just thrown into boxes…..needless to say the boxes are sitting in the garage screaming to be dealt with…….hoping this will get me organised once and for all
@Mel: Welcome my fellow Australian (I can tell by your spelling!) If your home is where you’re feeling most out of alignment right now, you might like to start with the 52 Organizing Missions program or the Home Organization module of Design Your Life. If there’s anything I can do to help, give me a yell on the Design Your Life forum. Ciao for now, M
Didn’t think I had 50 items to chuck out but I did and most of then where clothes and shoes etc that I haven’t worn for years. To the Op Shop they go and I feel a whole lot lighter!
Definitely accountable for this! So much energy released as those trash and donation bags leave the house!
ok….starting.
It’s now or never – I’m in!
Here I go!!!!!!!!!!!! I am very excited about this! Wish me luck! Lol

Wow! I am a little nervous about the program (seeing as how I can’t seem to stick to anything) but hopefully optimistic. I desperately need all the help I can get so wish me luck!
@Bambi: You don’t have to self-motivate for long to get real gains – just 30 minutes at a time. I know you can do it! M
Really looking forward to a huge step forward in my life
I’m in!!
Last mission was accomplished by having a haircut like Jennifer Aniston’s old one, bought a nail polish and painted my nails. Borrowed a friends foot spa and bought a new lot of clothes including bathers from Target. (Even a new pair of jeans – I haven’t worn these in years. Just would like to buy an elliptical trainer now and get fit at the same time.
to getting rid of the 50 or more items. This I call a necessity. Thank you.
Okay…I’m in…I’ve been thinking I was organized but my home says otherwise. Could we really have lovely rooms & closets and see our way clear to our craft/art areas again?
Ready to go. Hope I can get my husband to join in.
Time to get serious … Decluttering life starting now!!
Thank God for some guidance that shows that this is an attainable goal. I am excited!!
I really hope I can do this. Check that – I WILL do this!
You sure will, Kelly! It’s only 30 minutes a week so I know you can do it! M
I did it! It’s garbage night and I easily filled a garbage bag. It was awfully heavy. YAY,,

Just completed sewing cupboard. Everything is glad bagged, love those things. All labelled – zips, lace and ribbons, knitting, material has been trimmed. Can I rid of more there? We’ll see/
Tonight I will do a little in my computer office desk. This will get me going until I complete it. I am in.
My small computer roll around office computer holder drawers (2) are organised. That was quick. Tomorrow I will disperse and put away what came out.
My bench is lovely and clean at least. I can sleep well tonight.
Heather
Ready to start.
i am in it to win it! I am going to control my clutter and my life again!
i’m in!
Thank you Michelle, I am looking forward to my morning. The cereal and bowls are out tonight.

It’s on!
I’m hoping this will give me the poke to get me up a doin’! Let’s go!
Ok. Got to try something.
i have been in for some time, now it is time to be official.
Okay, count me in. I tried out Mission #1 a couple weeks ago, and it felt GREAT, so I’m back to commit to all 52 missions. I’m gonna take it from the top and Mission #1 again because it felt so good!!
Let’s get this show on the road!
lets get started
i can not wait to get started.
I’m ready! Count me in!!
I am ready to change the organization habits of my family… Thanks for the motivation!!
Can’t wait to get started!
Okay, I’m in! I feel a breakthrough coming!!
i am in, so ready to clear the clutter and get organized.
lets get STARTED!!
ready to go!!
I am ready to simlify my life. having been diagnosed with Lupus almost 8 years ago and having to quit working because I am too ill has really taken a toll on my personal accountability. I need to get organized, if even just to make my good days more enjoyable, instead of feeling like I should be doing something around the house instead of with my family and friends. I know that I can squeeze out 30 minutes a week, even when I am at my worst, unless I am in the hospital, so I am commiting, and praying that this works!!! I have my husband by my side to help me every step of the way, so I know it will get done.
Alright. I commited a couple weeks ago and have already completed the first 2 challenges. Off to comment on #3 as I prepare to tackle the bills this week.
Ok,I’m in!
Let’s start! Really need some organization in mt life
bring it, I’m ready
YIKES!!!
let’s do it.
I’m ready to get organized.
Well, not really sure I really WANT to do this, but sometimes you gotta do
what you gotta do. It’s time to commit to making some much needed changes. Hold on, it might get bumpy
Good on you for making a start, Allison. I suspect that after the first mission you will WANT to keep going! Good luck, M
I committ!
I am so sick of the clutter and not having anything organized!
I’m ready.
I’m ready to go.
This is a good challenge and I will ensure it works for me…. will monitor myself for the next 4 weeks….committing to stick with it.
I need this badly
Yes lovely – done!
I know that I am not alone in this -there are others tackling their piles, too~ I am in!
Well, they say a journey of a 1000 miles starts with just one step. So here
I am on mission 1 about to take the step. Hard work and change lies in front of me, but I am excited to take the plunge and get life in order. I am excited to leave the overwhelm behind. Hope these 52 missions can guide me to where I want to be.
i am anxious to get organized and feel a weight lifted off my shoulders. I do not know or understand the blog thing though. I play outside in the garden, or with my pets, and do not spend much time learning about the Internet stuff.
Help! I need motivation, and hope this will do it. I have found if I can put 20 min. in at a time, it often turns into more and I get more done. Beginning is the hardest part.
I like what I see so far, so I will definitely commit to at least 30 minutes a week on alternating days. Saturday on my off weekend and Tuesday after my work weekend. I liked Fly Lady previous to this but she is just more domestic than I am.
I don’t know if I’m ready to start, but I desperately need this. Here goes!
I’m in! Granted, this weekly program was started a while ago, but I’ll read the missions weekly and DO THEM. Time to get this girl organized!
Yes!
Ready, willing and able!
I’M GOIN’ IN!!! WHO’S WITH ME LADIES?!?! WHOOOOHOOO!!!
It’s about time!!!
it’s time for a change..
Sure hope this works!
lets do it!!!
i am so in!
I’m ready to get started!
What the heck – may as well commit !
On board!
Sadly, I think I may have started this awhile back and dropped the ball. Can anyone else relate? This is a good time for me to *re*-commit; I believe I’m in the right mindset now. Thank you!
ready, set, go
I’m ready to begin my commitment to organize. I will start with Mission # 1!
Here goes…I’ve tried for years to get organized and stay that way and I have yet to accomplish that goal……so Michelle, I’m trying your way with high hopes!!
Coming from a committmentaphone – I commit!
I need help!!!!! Is there really a place for everything and everything in it’s place???!!!
My paperwork is all over one room and needs organising – so does much of my life – I’m a major procrastinator!
I’m committed!
@Tansy: You CAN be organized but you CANNOT be perfect! So take a breathe and get ready for Mission 1 to make you feel amazing.
PS There’s an entire mission on paperwork coming up for you.
I can’t wait to begin. I have too much stuff and need to get organized.
So happy to start it, feel very-very motivated
