Ice your cell phone
Reasons to Ice your Cell Phone:
We hope it never happens but what happens if one day you can't speak for yourself and the medical information is not available?
If you don't have any medical tag/bracelet/necklace telling of your medical condition(s) your life could be jeopardized by the medical personnel giving you the wrong treatment.
I'm not trying to scare anyone. But I've heard stories from friends who were in that position and wished they had their medical information available.
I'm attaching a brochure I made up for my group and we are sharing with you.
Should you not have a cell phone I have a form made up that you can fill in: one copy left visibly in your home marked 911 or to be opened by emergency medical personnel. You should also give a copy to your emergency contact person(s). You should carry a copy in your purse/wallet/pocket etc.
Yes, you can ask your local fire dept if they have heard of this program and if they use it. If they don't, you can make copies of the brochure and give them some.
Remember, each state or country may have their own rules and regulations.
To your health, Terry
