Post Check first aid and medicines

Check first aid and medicines.

1. Check your medical and first aid supplies.
2. Discard anything that’s no longer needed.
3. Discard anything that has expired.
4. Identify any items that you need to replenish and add them to your shopping list.
And you’re done!

It’s good to know you have first aid supplies on hand.

Remember: 1. Move fast. 2. Don’t overthink. 3. Feel great about getting organized!

Having delved into our medicine kit or the first time in ages, I took the time to do this task.
Quickly checking expiry dates, making a fresh list for new supplies, tidying up stray band aids and things. In 5 mins it was done and back in the cupboard. Big tick!

It's very important to keep your first aid kit up-to-date. And its extremely important that you toss expired medicine; makeup; etc.
Yes, make sure you have a list of supplies you need to replenish. If you have to replenish alot you might consider looking at first aid kits to see if it would be cheaper. A couple of years ago someone gave me a first aid fanny pack from the American Red Cross. I haven't had to use it but it was a thoughtful gift.
I also have a friend that uses prescription pill bottles at Xmas -- she puts a sterile needle; etc. and hands them out to the homeless. They are some groups around that will use the prescription pill bottles to put things in to send to soldiers overseas.
