I have done this in the past with a paper bag in the kitchen, but that is in the way and looks a little trashy. This time I placed a cardboard box in the walk-in closet in my bedroom under my clothes in the closet. I hope I will remember to put stuff in it when I find things that belong there.

Thanks for setting this task. I feel as though I am ahead of the game already I save all my pretty paper shopping bags for this purpose. I have a 'Smiggle' one on top of the downstairs fridge at the moment - shall work on filling it by the end of this week.

I used a large plastic storage bin with a lid, and lined it with a large trash bag. I placed it in the guest bedroom so it will be out of the way, and if we have overnight guests, I can easily remove it to the garage and the contents will be protected since it will be covered. Once it's full, I can just pull out the bag to be taken to charity, and line the bin with another bag, all ready to go again. I've already placed a few items in it that are unloved and in need of a good home.

While the kids are out of the house this morning I finally made a start on my Organize in 5 actions. It feels so good!
The donation box is now in place. I have a few friends having babies in the coming months so I have put aside good clothes and toys to pass on. Some of them brand new. People can be so generous when you have a newborn, I found that I didn't use everything. Not to mention how quickly babies grow. Some of my favorite outfits for the kids were only worn a few times. It's nice to be able to pass them on
