Clear out your cookbooks
1. Are there some you never use – maybe the recipes are too complicated or not healthy enough? Put those in your donation basket or recycle bin. 2. Are there some with only a few recipes you want? Tear those out and pop them in a folder, plastic sleeve or display book. Add the books to the recycle bin. 3. Arrange the remaining recipe books neatly. And you’re done! Now you can get to the good recipes more quickly and easily. Remember: 1. Move fast. 2. Don’t overthink. 3. Feel great about getting organized! Start the 5-minute timer now.

"To give up pretensions is as blessed a relief as to get them gratified." ~ William James
I love the liberating feeling of letting go of something you don't really care about. Yay you!

My Husband and I want to eat more healthy so it's my intention to learn to cook with basic ingredients. I never really learned to cook and I can't say that I am drawn much to cooking but if you want to eat more healthy, then learning to cook is a must. I get a lot of recipies on line so I put them in a recipe file folder until I try them, then if I like them I put them either in a recipe box or in a plastic sleave in a note book. I just recently brought some recipe books and recipes from our home in CA to our corporate housing home in CT but they were still in a bag so I spent my 5 minutes putting these items either on the book shelf with my other book, box or binders. There is a lot more room for improvement here but 5 minutes isn't much time.
