Install individual in-trays.

1. Find or buy some attractive trays – one for each family member who’s old enough to receive phone messages, school reminders or mail.
2. Label them with the person’s name. A sharpie or texta will do, or make a nice label if you want to spend extra time.
3. Place them on each person’s desk, or on a large kitchen counter if you have one - wherever each person will see their tray each day.
4. Let everyone know this is the new system for passing on and receiving messages and mail.

And you’re done!
