Install individual in-trays.
1. Find or buy some attractive trays – one for each family member who’s old enough to receive phone messages, school reminders or mail. 2. Label them with the person’s name. A sharpie or texta will do, or make a nice label if you want to spend extra time. 3. Place them on each person’s desk, or on a large kitchen counter if you have one - wherever each person will see their tray each day. 4. Let everyone know this is the new system for passing on and receiving messages and mail. And you’re done! Now you have a simple and practical way to manage your household communications. Remember: 1. Move fast. 2. Don’t overthink. 3. Feel great about getting organized! Start the 5-minute timer now.
