Default Clear the car clutter

Clear the car clutter.

1. Fill a trash bag with any litter from your car.
2. Check the seats, floor, glove box, cup holders, doors and the trunk.
3. Clear out toys, clothes, out-of-date maps and directories, extra sunglasses, CDs you’re sick of, and other items that don’t belong in the car.

And you’re done!

Driving around will be less stressful and more pleasant in your tidy car.

Remember: 1. Move fast. 2. Don’t overthink. 3. Feel great about getting organized!

Start the 5-minute timer now.

Glove box was already tidy thanks to the 30 day organize-athon.

Have cleaned out the rest of the car. Found envelopes from when I open mail waiting to pick the kids up from school, heaps of empty drink bottles NOT mine, and felt sorry for my miss 7 because I realised that she uses the car as a changing room probably too often getting from one activity to the next. She had 2 different ballet class costumes, jazz shoes and both types of ballet shoes and her tkd gear in there. I always wash this stuff every week but usually just ask her to get it for me, didn't realize that it was living in my car. THAT also gives you an indication of the amount of stuff that is usually in my car, that I don't even realise that her activity bags are in there!!!

I like the floor of the house to always be clear and clean because that is just the way I am but for some reason my car gets treated like a rubbish dump

Looks great now, just need a vacuum

The car can be like a microcosm of our homes, as we tend to have the same habits in each.

But we can get it sorted faster - and there's a lovely feeling of order when we do!

I don't have a car and I'm not interstead in having one for the next 20 years. One thing less to worry about.

Loved this 5-min activity.

I took the hand-held Vac with me and gave it a little 'dust-bust' when I'd finished. The kids seats needed some attention (crumbs crumbs crumbs) and I found a missing lipgloss under the front seat. Happy with that!
