Create a kids’ zone.

1. Look for a part of the living area that you can ‘zone off’ for the kids.
2. Good choices are a corner, or an area that can be marked off by furniture or by a rug.
3. Place an attractive basket or storage bin in the zone for quick and easy tidying.
4. Explain to the kids that when they play in the living area, this is their zone.
5. Respect the zone by keeping your stuff out of there!
