Organize an ‘outgoing’ space.
1. Gather any items that need to be taken ‘out’ – books to return, DVDs for the store, a gift for an upcoming party, items for errands, etc. 2. Choose a convenient spot near the door for these items – such as a shelf in a hallway closet, or a drawer in a hall table. Or move a small table to an appropriate position near the door. 3. Place your outgoing items in their new position, so you can check one convenient place whenever you’re heading out. And you’re done! You’ll be much more organized with one central spot for all outgoing items. Remember: 1. Move fast. 2. Don’t overthink. 3. Feel great about getting organized!
