Lightbulb Life & Goal Organizer - Personal Development - D2 Good Habits

The following are some suggestions for Life & Goal Organizer customers using worksheet D2 in the Personal Development module.

If you envy others for their punctuality, optimism, assertiveness or exercise habits why not set yourself up to develop these habits yourself? Or choose and work on your own good habits.

Personal development gains

How will developing this habit contribute to your personal development? Focus on the benefits you値l gain and you値l find motivation to persevere.

For instance, will giving up this habit:

  • Help your career
  • Help your business
  • Help your relationships
  • Improve your health
  • Improve your finances
  • Improve your happiness
  • Increase your confidence
  • Increase your productivity.

Ideas for helpful habits to develop

  • Patience
  • Optimism
  • Exercising regularly
  • Punctuality
  • Complimenting others
  • Practicing mindfulness
  • Speaking up in meetings
  • Taking care of myself
  • Drinking more water
  • Positive thinking
  • Eating well

How will you develop this habit?

Don稚 be vague here, or it will be too easy to give up. Be specific about what you値l do differently, and when you値l do it.

For instance:

  • I値l stop driving to work so I have to walk home for exercise
  • I値l make a point of noticing something I like about everyone I meet today, and I値l compliment them
  • I値l buy a notebook and write down things I知 grateful for on Thursdays at breakfast
  • I値l start shopping after dinner rather than before, and will buy more healthful foods.
