Wink Windows 7 Tip - Shake

I'm a bit of a geek, and have the new Microsoft Windows 7 installed.

Here's a quick tip for organizing your desktop if you use Windows 7.
You can 'shake' the current window, and it will minimize all the others.

To 'shake', simply click on and hold down the mouse button the title bar of a window (eg your web browser), and quickly move your mouse left and right (ie as if you were 'shaking' the window). All the other windows will minimis.

You can shake it again to restore them.
Very cool.

Hi Craig: Do you like Microsoft Windows 7 better than Microsoft Office Professional 2007? I tell my students to purchase the Student Teacher edition when they have the finances available. I tell my students to wait before they purchase Microsoft products. Give Microsoft time to get the bugs out of it.

Yes, I really like Windows 7. I think it is much better than Windows Vista or Windows XP.

I use Office 2007 and really like it too. It works well (I've installed it on Windows 7).

I agree with waiting a little while when new versions come out, especially if your current versions are working well for you.
I tend to be a bit of an early adopter when it comes to Microsoft, so I often install their latest products as soon as they are released. But I wouldn't recommend other people do this necessarily.
