@Kim: If you don’t have too much stuff and your things are already well organized, then you may not need to do this at all.

Otherwise, I suggest you don’t pull out your stuff and look at it!

Instead, spend the 5 minutes taking out stuff YOU DON’T NEED and getting rid of it. Move fast and don’t overthink. You’ll have much more room for what you do want, and it will be much easier to organize it. 🙂

I’m in but also finding like Jaime on 5/12/11 that a 5 min job took me an hour and a half. I’m not taking lengthy time trying to decide if I want it, but being brutal. I would have considered my things clean already, people alway comment about my clean home and closets, there is just too much extra that I have stockpiled (toothpaste, shampoo etc) not excessive, but just needs to be put in one place together. Help! I want to do this, just feel discouraged that in 5 minutes I’ve only pulled out the items to look at. Any advice? Thanks

Help everything takes so much longer in this mess. I need a plan I’ll do the work if you give me the guidance.
