Hey! it’s a challenge to make the space both functional and attractive.
I liked that you pointed out that it would be smart to get a multi-purpose room that you can put stuff in. It might be a good idea to get a storage unit as well. That way, you could put season things in there. I know that I don’t need my snowblower at my home year round.
I love that you mentioned that it would be best to never have any storage item that can entice you to get more things such as clothes. I guess I failed that part that is why I have a lot of shoes these days. Until now, the shoe rack that I bought still has a lot of spaces to be filled. With that in mind, I would have to replace it with another one, but, this time, I would seek professional help since I really suck at this.
I’ve come to the conclusion that I have way too much stuff in my home and I really need to organize things. I have a lot of paper clutter and as you said, it would be a good idea to see about digitizing everything so that way, it reduces all of that space taken up by them. I’ll probably see about doing that as it will also make it easier to search and find things on my computer, than going through a bunch of filing cabinets.
Great!
oh dear, as I read your email today I can hardly see my desk top. perhaps I should start there. I keep starting this de clutter thing but life keeps getting busy and I only get so far and then it snowballs again. would you like to move in for a month Michelle? I am sure you would have a ball and a nice Australian holiday too. I guess I really need to get moving on it today. thanks for the reminder.
