Welcome to Mission 40 of our 52 Get Organized Missions.

If the idea of clearing out your attic, basement, garage, cellar, spare room or storage unit terrifies you, then take a deep breath.

In this organizing mission we’ll face the fear, and make a good start on conquering your storage demons.

In the last mission we concentrated on decluttering surfaces we could see, (Get Organized Mission 39: Declutter Your Surfaces), now we get to delve into the abyss

    We would conquer our space demons by organizing certain areas of our home as follows:
    We would keep the following in our BATHROOM STORAGE SPACE: towels, washcloths, toilet paper, toilet brush & deodorizer; bars of soap; clothes hamper; cosmetics/beauty products; cleaning supplies; shower gel; shampoo; toothbrush & toothpaste; hairbrush & comb; razor & shaving products.
    We would organize our CLOSETS as follows:
    FOYER CLOSET: We would keep our coats, jackets, winter shoes/boots, hats, scarves & gloves.
    BEDROOM CLOSET: Keep your clothes on hangers; everyday shoes; hats; caps; bed linen; clothes hamper; accessories on your shelf.
    We would keep in our KITCHEN CABINETS: dinnerware sets; cups; bowls; mugs.
    KITCHEN DRAWERS: silverware; pot holders; dish cloths.
    UNDER THE SINK: cleaning products.
    PANTRY:
    CANNED GOODS: Soup; Tuna; Tomato Paste; Beans and Evaporate Milk.
    DRESSING: Oil & Vinegar; Salad Dressings; Dip Mixes; Condiments; Bread Crumbs & Croutons; Sauces. Salad dressings can also be refrigerated.
    DRY GOODS: Noodles: spaghetti; linguine; egg; angel hair. Nuts; seeds; dried fruit; dried vegetables.
    BAKING: All Purpose Flour; Sugar; Brown Sugar; Raisins!
    BREAKFAST & SNACKS: Cereal; Crackers; Chips & Popcorn; Low Salt Potato Chips.
    BEDROOM:
    DRESSER DRAWERS: T-Shirts; Socks; Underwear; Scarves; Gloves.
    BATHROOM
    MEDICINE CABINET: Q-Tips; Cotton Balls; Alcohol; Toothbrush & Toothpaste; Dental Floss; Shaving Products; Deodorant; Razors & Shaving Creams; Band-Aids’; Neo-Sporran; Tweezers; Scissors. Do not keep medications in cabinet due to moisture.
    HOME OFFICE: Computers; Printer; Paper; Postage Stamps; Scotch Tape; Scissors; Stapler & Staples; Post-It Notes; Pencils; Pens; Highlighters; Markers; Paper Clips; Coasters; Desk Pad; Calendar; Desk Lamp; Stationary supplies; Address book or Rolodex; White Out; Yellow Pages & Landline Telephone.
